We are pleased to let everyone know of the recent donations that have been made by the Ide Hill Community Shop to local good causes. Applications were made by a number of groups and considered by an independent panel who made their recommendations to the Directors of the shop. The Directors endorsed those recommendations, and the following awards were made. The donations awarded this year were

Cricket club £2500 towards a new mower.
Friends of Ide Hill Church £400 for a coffee urn
Friends of Goathurst Common £2660 for swing in and a further £1500 for a bench in Goathurst Playground
Ide Hill School £2500 towards outdoor equipment
Village Hall £2500, towards new entrance doors/entrance
